We’re excited to announce that Solid Performance 1.3.1 is now live! This release comes packed with essential bug fixes and improvements to enhance your caching experience. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new:

Bug Fixes:

  • HTML Comment Timestamps: We’ve updated the HTML comment timestamps on cached files to reflect the timezone configured in your WordPress dashboard. Now, timestamps will also include the timezone, providing more accurate information for your caching logs.
  • Query Monitor Output: An issue where the Query Monitor output was missing in the admin bar when Solid Performance was active has been resolved. You can now easily monitor queries while using our plugin!
  • Advanced Cache Issue: We fixed a bug that caused advanced-cache.php to be automatically deleted when WP_CONTENT_DIR was dynamically changed. This ensures that your caching setup remains intact regardless of changes made.
  • Dynamic Cache Directory Path: The cache_dir configuration path is now dynamically updated after reading the configuration from the database or config.php. This enhancement helps ensure that your cache directory is always accurately set.

Enhance Performance and Improve User Experience

The bug fixes in Solid Performance 1.3.1 are designed to streamline your WordPress site’s performance and improve your overall user experience. By updating the HTML comment timestamps to reflect your configured timezone, you gain better visibility into when caching is taking place, allowing for more accurate monitoring and troubleshooting.

Restoring the Query Monitor output ensures that developers can efficiently track database queries without interruptions, leading to quicker identification of performance bottlenecks. Fixing issues related to advanced-cache.php and the dynamic update of the cache_dir configuration further enhances stability, ensuring your caching processes run smoothly.
