Solid Backups 9.1.1 Release Notes

Solid Backups 9.1.1 improves remote storage functionality for Dropbox and Google Drive.

Jennifer Schramm

Today, we’ve released Solid Backups 9.1.1. This release includes bug fixes for Dropbox (v3) and Google Drive (v2) to improve the reliability of remote backup storage on those platforms.

With the 9.1.1 release of Solid Backups, we’ve fixed a bug that caused Dropbox (v3) access tokens to expire after four hours. Now, Dropbox access tokens will last until you remove Backups’ access to a Dropbox account. You’ll also be able to send backups to the Dropbox remote destination without refreshing your browser.

Additionally, some Solid Backups customers have reported being unable to add the same Google Drive (v2) account as a backup destination for more than one site. The bug preventing Google Drive (v2) from connecting to multiple sites using Solid Backups has been fixed with the 9.1.1 release.

We’ve made an important Security update in Solid Backups 9.1.1 as well, which hardens it against XSS attacks. Thanks to Robin Wood (digi.ninja) for contacting us and disclosing this issue.

The 9.1.1 release is available now via automatic updates in WordPress sites where Solid Backups is installed. You may also download it from your SolidWP member panel at my.solidwp.com.
