Today, we’ve released Solid Backups 9.1.2. This release focuses entirely on responding to known issues reported by Solid Backups users as part of our commitment to responding to customer needs as quickly as possible.

With the release of Solid Backups 9.1.2, we have fixed a bug reported by several customers. After updating to Solid Backups 9.0.0, the scheduled backups listed on Solid Backups › Schedules showed a missing cron for the next scheduled run.

Also addressed in 9.1.2 was a critical error notice in the Backups Activity History tab and the inability to open the troubleshooting tab while sending a Complete Backup to Amazon S3 as a remote destination. A customer reported this using PHP 8.0.30, and it has been fixed.

Most importantly, we addressed the reported issue that WordPress core removed (without deprecating) support for the MySQL extension in WordPress 6.4, resulting in a fatal PHP error.

Additionally, we addressed the fact that using esc_url() to escape the results of pb_backupbuddy::ajax_url( 'remote_send' ) encodes the & character, making the URL invalid. This bug was found in multiple instances of pb_backupbuddy_selectdestination() found throughout the plugin.

Also fixed: a bug causing a PHP Fatal error during Stash Live backups while the user is also viewing Stash Live information on the main Backups screen.

The 9.1.2 release is available now via automatic updates in WordPress sites where Solid Backups is installed. You may also download it from your SolidWP member panel at my.solidwp.com.
