Solid Backups Maintenance Release 9.1.5

Solid Backups 9.1.5 fixes bugs and errors that were reported to us following the release of 9.1

Jennifer Schramm

Today, we have issued a maintenance release of Solid Backups — version 9.1.5. Solid Backups 9.1.5 addresses some errors and bugs Solid Backups users experienced and reported to us.

What was addressed and fixed in Backups 9.1.5:

This release removes the “Force Internal Cron” feature (found under “Advanced” settings in earlier versions) as its functionality was rendered unnecessary with the introduction of the Action Scheduler in version 9.0.

Additionally, it resolves a conflict with certain other WordPress plugins that made use of the GuzzleHttp Client library, including Contact Forms 7 and the CF7 Google Sheet Connector free plugin.

It also fixes some bugs:

  • Backups failed to complete when “Force Internal Cron” was enabled in Advanced Settings
  • Making changes to an existing scheduled backup didn’t work as expected
  • Themes-only backups were failing in version 9.1.4
  • Under certain conditions, backing up very large sites failed to complete

The 9.1.5 release is available now via automatic updates in WordPress sites where Solid Backups is installed. You may also download it from your SolidWP member panel at my.solidwp.com.
