Make your site super speedy thanks to improvements in our latest Solid Performance release. Solid Performance 1.2.0 delivers faster load times due to automatic compression of cache files. This release also includes code optimizations, performance improvements, and critical bug fixes.
Enhancements:
- Cache files are now automatically created and served using gzip, deflate, brotli, or zstd, depending on the server and browser configurations. This results in smaller cache sizes and faster response times.
- Additional code optimizations and performance improvements have been implemented.
Bug fixes:
- The advanced-cache.php file is now automatically replaced when the plugin updates, preventing potential site crashes.
- If the plugin is deactivated, the advanced-cache.php file is removed to ensure the plugin doesn’t run unintentionally when not active.
Improve the User Experience by Reducing Page Load Time
“The probability of bounce increases 32% as page load time goes from 1 second to 3 seconds.* A page caching plugin like Solid Performance is an essential tool for helping WordPress site managers and administrators serve a faster website. Easy page caching accelerates your site in minutes with only a couple of clicks. Page load times not only correlate directly to bounce rates, but they also impact search engine rankings.
By automatically creating and serving cache files using gzip, brotli, or zstd (depending on the server and browser configurations), Solid Performance creates smaller cache sizes delivering faster response times.
If you have not checked your page load times recently, you may want to visit: https://gtmetrix.com or https://pagespeed.web.dev. Both of these are free services. A speed test can help you pinpoint what is slowing down your WordPress site.
Improve the Site Administrator Experience with Code Improvements and Optimizations
The SolidWP team is equally focused on the WordPress site manager or administrator experience. Solid Performance 1.2.0 includes code improvements and optimizations that enhance the speed and performance of the plugin itself. Our team is continually focused on delivering an optimum experience for our users including the ease with which our plugins are used, as well as the plugin’s impact on memory usage and processing time.
