There is a compatibility update for iThemes Security Pro users available today. This new compatibility release (iThemes Security Pro 7.3.5) must be applied to maintain passwordless login functionality with the forthcoming release of WordPress 6.3 on August 8. Without this update applied ahead of the WordPress 6.3 release, iThemes Security Pro’s passwordless login feature will not continue to work as expected on sites that upgrade to WordPress 6.3.
WordPress 6.3 is adding the HTML 5 required attribute to the WordPress login form fields, preventing them from being submitted without input. This has the side effect of breaking the passwordless login feature in iThemes Security Pro.
