Solid Backups 9.1.0 Release Notes

Solid Backups 9.1 improves the speed and reliability of Stash Live using Action Scheduler.

Today, we’ve released Solid Backups 9.1.0. This release brings significant performance enhancements and bug fixes to Solid Stash Live. Now, you’ll enjoy faster, more reliable archiving of WordPress sites on any web host.

With the 9.1.0 release, Stash Live will continue backup processes even when the administrator who initiated the backup does not remain within the admin interface. Previously, a “Resume Process” link would appear if a backup process stalled and needed to be manually restarted. Manual restarts won’t be necessary most of the time now for most users. Similarly, the “Waiting on File Transfers to Finish” step in the backup process will be completed much more quickly if it appears at all.

Additionally, old or unused backup actions are cleaned up after Stash Live runs and during daily Housekeeping.

To see backup processes currently at work, go to Tools › Scheduled Actions and click the “Pending” actions filter.

Some PHP 7.2 compatibility errors have been fixed, and large backup files can be sent to OneDrive without timing out.

The 9.1.0 release is available now via automatic updates in WordPress sites where Solid Backups is installed. You may also download it from your SolidWP member panel at my.solidwp.com.
