In the Solid Central Rebrand Progress demo, developer John Hooks gives a walk-through of his progress on making Solid Central, formerly iThemes Sync, more intuitive and powerful for users.

New styling has been added, including mobile styling. With iThemes Sync, some actions on mobile were hidden. However, with Solid Central, you’ll be able to view all the actions from your dashboard on a mobile device.

The reporting section has also been redesigned. Previously, the report styling was very dated. In the new Solid Central, you’ll be able to see everything you need upfront in a clean and sleek way.

In the individual site screens, you’ll see the same integrations with Backups and Security. Looking forward, one of the exciting new updates will be to bring the features of Backups and Security into Solid Central. We will add ways to control them in bulk actions as we do with installation and updates.

Another update will be the Google integration, making sure it works in different screen configurations. In the new Solid Central, a nice, bold display will show you everything you need to know for the analytics of your site.

Our transition from iThemes Sync to Solid Central has provided the perfect opportunity for our developers to address issues shared with us by our customers. In this case, styling and reporting were a bit outdated, and integrations for Backups and Security were buried. Solid Central will bring the information to you in the way you need it: quickly and seamlessly.
